# Amazon Monitron: end-to-end condition monitoring where paired Bluetooth sensors on an asset send vibration and temperature readings through a Wi-Fi or Ethernet gateway to the AWS Cloud for ISO and ML analysis. In maintenance since 31 October 2024 and closed to new customers; placeable until end of support.
# "Amazon Monitron components" gives the device facts: Bluetooth Low Energy 5 sensors with a default data capture of once an hour and an estimated five-year battery, up to 20 sensors per asset, and Ethernet (PoE) or 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi gateways, with Ethernet described as the global standard; "Accessing your Amazon Monitron data" makes export to Amazon Kinesis or Amazon S3 an opt-in step.
